What are Custom Objects?

Custom objects allow teams to track and manage anything outside the scope of the standard TermSheet objects.

TermSheet is purpose-built to be flexible and customizable. If there are associations or processes that should be tracked that are outside the standard TermSheet objects, custom objects can easily be created.

Before getting started, consider whether a custom object is the right choice for the use case in mind using the following questions as a guide:

  • Can you use an existing TermSheet object and it's properties to organize your data instead of a custom object?
  • If the custom object is created, could there be duplicate or inconsistent data between the custom object and an existing object in TermSheet?

TermSheet has options for enabling Properties, Units, Loans Quotes, Leases, and Dispositions. To request to have these enabled, contact support@termsheet.com or reach out to a customer success manager.
