Track inbound and outbound activities with Contacts and Companies with Engagements
Keep a record of inbound and outbound activity by logging calls, meetings, and social medial connections in the workspace CRM.

💡Things to Consider
Before starting to log engagements, navigate to Dropdowns in Settings to configure the Call Outcome, Meeting Outcome, Activity Type, and Social Media Source options.
Engagements can be logged against an individual contact or a company.
If an Engagement is being logged against a company, and there are contacts associated to that company, a contact field will be available to relate an associated contact to the company Engagement record.
⚙️Steps
Log a Call
- Navigate to a Contact or a Company record.
- Select the Engagements tab.
- Select Log Call
- Select an option from the dropdown in Call Outcome
- Select an option from the dropdown in Type
- Select an option from the dropdown in Direction
- Enter text into the note section (required to save)
- Select an Event Date/Time to note the date and time the engagement took place.
- Select Save.
- To edit the engagement, select the ⁝ icon to the right of the engagement, then select "Edit"
Log a Meeting
- Navigate to a Contact or a Company record.
- Select the Engagements tab.
- Select Log Meeting
- Select an option from the Meeting Outcome dropdown
- Select an option from the Type dropdown
- Enter text into the note section (required to save)
- Select an Event Date/Time to note the date and time the engagement took place.
- Select Save.
- To edit the engagement, select the ⁝ icon to the right of the engagement, then select "Edit"
Log Social Media
- Navigate to a Contact or a Company record.
- Select the Engagements tab.
- Select Log Social Media
- Select an option from the Source dropdown
- Enter a URL in the Profile fields (optional)
- Enter text into the note section (required to save)
- Select an Event Date/Time to note the date and time the engagement took place.
- Select Save.
- To edit the engagement, select the ⁝ icon to the right of the engagement, then select "Edit"
