Follow Up on Engagements in the CRM

Create a follow up task from an engagement to add an reminder to help stay on top of ongoing communication.

Engagements allow for communication to be tracked in the CRM. Follow up tasks make it simple to set a reminder to stay on top of ongoing conversations in just a few clicks. 

💡Things to Consider

Once a follow up task has been created, select the Tasks tab in the company or contact record to add an assignee. 

The Engagement description is not carried over to the follow up task description. To update the follow up task description, select the Tasks tab in the company or contact record, then select the follow up task to add a description. 

⚙️Steps

  1. Add an Engagement (Log an Engagement)
  2. Select the "Create a task to follow up" checkbox.
  3. To change the follow up due date, select the number and type a new one. 2024-01-22_10-34-13
  4. Navigate to the Tasks tab in the company or contact record to update the assignee or the follow up task description. 2024-01-22_10-36-43
