Add Subtasks to Task Items

Subtasks can be added to any task item to track and manage any smaller unit of work that is part of a larger task.

Add subtasks to any task item to create a nested list of items that need to be completed in relation to the main task item.

💡Things to Consider

Subtasks are not accessible via Aggregated Task Lists

Users and Task Collaborators who have been assigned as a Task Assignee or a Task Follower will receive notifications when a subtask has been added to a task. 

To update the notification settings, Change Notification Settings

 

⚙️ Steps

  1. Navigate to any deal task or Global task
  2. Select any task item from the list.
  3. In the Task Details pop up, scroll down to Subtasksfind subtask
  4. Add a subtask then select the save icon. save subtask
  5. Repeat this process for any additional subtasks. 
  6. To set dates for the subtask, select the start and end date fields from the main list view. due date subtask
