Field Values need to be aggregated as SUM or AVG on reports depending on their type. Learn how to set Report Builder Report Subtotals to SUM or AVG on any individual field.
💡Things to Consider
A grouping must be set on Reports in order for the reports to display a subtotal
Currently, only Report Builder reports support the ability to select summary types on fields independently.
Reports built in the PDF Reports module only support one summary type (SUM/AVG) for all fields on the report.
Calculations like weighted averages are also available to be configured. Contact the support@termsheet.com to request a calculated average.
⚙️Steps
- Select any report from the Report Builder module.
- Group the report using the Group By dropdown at the bottom of the report.
- Select the ∑ symbol to display the Summary Formula Toggle.
- Select SUM to display a total of values for that field in subtotal lines. Select AVG to display an average of values for that field in report subtotal lines.
