Use TermSheet's Report Builder tool to view data points over time across a set of deals.
In the Deal Insights tab, users can view data points over time for a single deal.
With Time Series in Report Builder, create an aggregated view of data points over time across multiple deals.
💡Things to Consider
The fields available for filtering and reporting are limited to the fields that are available in the time series charts in Deal Insights.
Create visualizations for Time Series reports which can count, average, or total datapoints across all deals over the time period.
⚙️Steps
- Navigate to the Report Builder.
- Select "+New Report"
- Select "Deal > Time Series" in the object type dropdown.
- Enter a name for the Report.
- To begin building the report, use the dropdowns to select fields to pull in to the report in the left sidebar. No data will appear in the center pane until a date range is selected in the next step.
- Next, select a date range by navigating to the filters tab. Select a start date and an end date using the dropdowns. Data from the fields selected in step 5 should now populate in the data table.
- Next, select the Visualization Tab
- Use the dropdowns to select a chart type (Line) and a function (sum, count, average).
- Select "Create" to view the visualization.
- Select "Save" in the upper right hand corner before navigating away from the page to save the report.
