Reforecast Deals to force a model pull and publish

Reforecast is a way to trigger an excel pull and publish on the most recently synced version of the model without having to physically open up the model 

💡Things to Consider

Only the Deals object is supported

Deal Mapping must occur on an Excel Tab titled "TermSheet" not Termsheet - Deals".

Users can rename the TermSheet-Deals tab that auto-populates to achieve this.

Reforecast a Single Deal

There must already be an excel model that has been published to the deal. That file will live in the Deal > Files> Models folder. 

  1. Navigate to a deal.
  2. Select the three dots icon in the upper right corner. 
  3. Select Reforecast
  4. A message will appear in the notification bell to let you know the reforecast is processing. 
  5. In the background, the most recently updated version will be used for the reforecast. Data from TermSheet will be pulled, then the model will be published back to TermSheet. 
  6. A success message will populate in the notification bell once the reforecast has completed successfully. 

 

Reforecast Multiple Deals

There must already be an excel model that has been published to each deal. That file will live in the Deal > Files> Models folder. 

  1. Navigate to a deal saved view
  2. Select the deals to be reforecast using the checkboxes to the left of the deal name. 
  3. Find the Updated Selected Button, then select Reforecast
  4. A message will appear in the notification bell to let you know the reforecast is processing. 
  5. In the background, the most recently updated version will be used for the reforecast. Data from TermSheet will be pulled, then the model will be published back to TermSheet. 
  6. A success message will populate in the notification bell once the reforecast has completed successfully.
