- Switch Duration from Business Days to Calendar Days
- Switch Lag Type from Business Days to Calendar Days
💡Things to Consider
Duration Type and Lag Type are controlled independently in each individual Task Item.
Currently there is not a way to update task items in bulk. For assistance updating task items in bulk, please contact support@termsheet.com.
⚙️Steps
Switch Duration Calculation from Business Days (Default) to Calendar Days on a Task
- Navigate to a Task List and select a task from the list.
- Enter a Duration and then use the duration type dropdown to select Calendar days. This will recalculate the due dates to populate based on calendar days (including weekends) vs. Business Days.
- Changes will save automatically when you click out of the Duration Type dropdown.
If task dates are already set on a task item and the Duration Type is changed, to preserve the task dates, the Duration (# of days) will change rather than the task dates. This can be changed as needed by updating the Duration field.
Switch Predecessor Lag Calculation from Business Days (Default) to Calendar Days on a Task
- Navigate to a Task List and select a task from the list.
- Predecessor Lag is set by default to Business Days. This means that when calculating the dependent dates, weekends will be skipped.
- Select the + icon under the predecessor section of Task Details to add a new predecessor or select an existing predecessor.
- Enter the predecessor and lag then use the Lag Type dropdown to select Calendar days. This will calculate dates by including weekends.
- Lag days will not be altered when the Lag Type is changed. The dependent task dates may change if the lag days cross over a weekend.
