Add Task Collaborators to Global Task Lists

Add users with limited permissions to view Global Task Lists that they have been added to.

Task Collaborators are users in the workspace who have very limited access specific to the Global Task Lists that they have been added to. Task Collaborators will not be able to navigate to other tabs outside of the Tasks tab and will not be able to view Global Task Lists (public or private) that they have not been added to.

💡 Things to Consider

Task Collaborators are given access to the entire Global Task List they have been added to. Their access cannot be limited to specific sections, tasks, or actions.

Task Collaborators cannot add additional Task Collaborators. The icon to add will not be displayed for these users.

Currently, Task Collaborators can only be added to Global Task Lists.


⚙️ Steps

  1. Navigate to the Global Task List by selecting the Task Tab. Then select "Global".

  2. Select the + icon to add an existing user or select "Invite a User"

  3. Enter the email for the Task Collaborator.

  4. Select "Send Invitation".

  5. The user will receive an email inviting them to sign up with TermSheet. Selecting the link will prompt them to create their login credentials. The email cannot be changed.

  6. The user will automatically be assigned to the "Task Collaborator" role with only one permission enabled.

  7. The user will land within Global Tasks and only be able to see task lists that they have been added to.
